Whilst the prime focus of these galleries on the bus services in Oldham, it is useful to be able to look at the vehicles themselves. The galleries here are grouped by batch of vehicle and will in due course include a history of each batch (when I work out how to best present that information in this gallery format).

Each batch of vehicles can be viewed separately and the vehicles are in order within their own gallery. Note that these photographs all appear elsewhere in other parts of this gallery and are linked. Sometimes the caption will refer to previous photographs in their home galleries and may not therefore seem logical!

At the moment every type of post-war bus is represented, but the coverage of pre-war buses is less comprehensive. It will never be as comprehensive as I would like as I know from the experience of others who have been looking a long time that in some cases vehicles just weren't photographed.

There is still quite a lot of work to do on the galleries to be found here, but it is felt that they will be of interest even in their current rather raw state.
