Closure of Underlane for road works has caused the 343 to be diverted via Lydgate and, as often seems to be the case around Saddleworth, there are temporary traffic lights on the diversionary route to compound the frustration. 5206 is climbing Quick Road from Mossley to Lydgate on 19th March 1999 and is straddling the Lancashire/Yorkshire boundary.
