Many routes were followed by buses as Metrolink construction work took place along Union Street. The convential route of the 425 is illustrated on the previous photo but on this occasion Mercedes-Benz Citaro 60234 has turned down Rhodes Bank (the old Gas Street) and then returned to Union Street using Waterloo Street, where it is seen here.
