In the seventies double-deck Red & White workings on the Ynysybwl service were operated by one of a small number of Lodekkas allocated to the otherwise single-deck depot in Aberdare. L762 is in NBC poppy red but although the fleetname has the “double-N” symbol the fleetname is of the final style used by Red & White before the corporate image was imposed.

Traffic behind includes one of Pontypridd’s 1966 Willowbrook-bodied Reliances and a Red & White MW6G, once the mainstay of the busy Pontypridd to Aberdare service.
