A big surprise in early 1970 was transfer of this Stockport PD2 to Oldham garage (little did we realise how much it was a sign of things to come!). An even bigger surprise was its appearance in Oldham's pommard and devon cream livery - the orange livery hadn't been adopted at this time. SELNEC were still feeling their way at this time and it got renumbered in the Oldham series, having been Stockport 302 it was renumbered as if it was Oldham 302. It was soon realised this was not a good long-term practice and it was renumbered in the Stockport series as 5922.
