This bus was repainted orange in July 1970, originally carrying the Manchester-style fleet numbers which didn’t show up well, particularly at night under sodium lighting. I noted it receiving black numbers as seen here in September 1972 following some touching-up of the paintwork. It has just left the stop near Cross Street heading for Lees.
