Having called in the bus station, Islwyn 4 backtracks slightly to leave Nelson along High Street and Llwyncelyn Terrace on its way to Pontypridd.

The previous West Mon 4 was the oldest bus still in the feet at the time of my first visit, shortly before this bus was new. These were the first new vehicles delivered in this livery. The advert relates to plans for bus deregulation, although this was two years into the future.
