For many years the Mossley bus from Oldham started from the top of Greaves Street, very close to the Town Hall entrance. 362, seen here on 16th March 1963, was a Crossley SD42/7 which was one of four in the second batch of these Roe-bodied single-deckers. These later examples had a more rounded outline than the earlier ones. These fourteen Crossleys comprised Oldham's single-deck fleet for some fourteen years and hence monopolised Oldham's workings on the E.
