Subject: GMT 109 (HNE 633N)
Chassis: Leyland National 10351/1R
Body: Leyland National B41F
Location: Oldham, Mumps roundabout
Date: 5-Aug-1981

109 has come from Denshaw and just joined the roundabout at Mumps. Castle Mill in the background appears in many photos around Mumps and Bottom o'th Moor. It was built in 1802 although much of the building visible here would date from 1919. It was used for many years by the Lancashire Cotton Waste Co. Ltd for waste sorting, hence the initials LCW above the mill name. It was demolished in 1989.
