Photographs of Pontypridd’s buses passing the eponymous bridge are surprisingly rare, although trolleybuses seemed to photographed there frequently. 1 has received the new, lighter blue livery but still retains its original, unmasked, destination display.

Prominent on the hillside above the bus are buildings of various Coed-y-lan schools. With the exception of the primary school (the building immediatley above the rear of the bus) these are all now closed and the site is being redeveloped.
