This posed picture of preserved GMT Leopard 81 in Delph shows that if you have a bit of patience, even today you can take a photograph without any modern passing traffic to spoil the illusion. I find when taking pictures like this that the results are better than you expect at the time since, you're aware of all the incongruous objects around you, most of which don't even get into the photograph.
