Without fleetnames, Tiger Cub 114 is outside the Central Library and Art Gallery. This building was opened in August 1887. The Library Director appointed at the end of 1946 was Miss Teresa Simpson, who had the distinction of being the first female to work for Oldham Corporation at Chief Officer level.
