What a lovely vehicle to chance upon at the end of the evening! This vehicle started life in 1899 and ran as a court car on the Lokalbahnen until the collapse of the monarchy in 1918. It managed to survive to be acquired for preservation in 1954 and more recently was fully restored with a sumptuous interior.

My encounter was unexpected and brief - it unloaded and left the stop at Oper before I could get in front of it.
