Atlantean 6299 in commemorative livery made few visits to Oldham after its inaugural run in 1983 (see later in this collection). However, it is on such a visit on 30th August 1991 wearing Yorkshire Rider insignia. The grey building to the left of the photograph is the erstwhile North Western bus station and garage on Clegg Street, now demolished.
