Subject: National Travel West N83 (JMA 413L)
Chassis: Bristol RELH6L
Body: ECW C49F
Location: Oldham, Yelloway coach station
Date: 1970s

This batch of ECW-bodied Bristol RE coaches were to be the last new vehicles delivered in North Western livery, but by this stage North Western was purely a coach company and future deliveries would be in the white livery seen here. By this time North Western's 413 had become N83 in the National Travel West fleet.

N83 is arriving at the Yelloway coach station. Note the driver's Setright machine behind the windscreen - no complex one-man operation set-up for these vehicles!

This vehicle has survived and is regularly to be seen, restored to its original red and cream livery.

From an original slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown.
