Subject: Oldham C. T. 270 (DBU 270)
Chassis: Leyland Titan PD1/3
Body: Roe H31/25R
Location: Oldham, High Street
Date: c.1950

Oldham 270 is ready to leave on a journey that would have left Lever Street in Manchester at 1215. However, behind 270 Manchester Crossley 2055 seems even more anxious to leave for Waterhead on the 98. Both will follow the same route as far as Waterhead but as the 13 was Limited Stop 270 would no doubt get there sooner.

270 appears to be in its original livery style with the narrow crimson band, although it’s difficult to be certain from this angle. It was one of the last three PD1/3s in service, running into 1968.
