The environment at Schottentor is little different by day or by night and it is necessary to look beyond the trams outside to realise this photograph was taken at night. E2 4025 arrives from Grinzing and is all set for the return whilst c5 trailer 1420 is being hauled to Gersthof, presumably by 4020.
