One of the more attractive colour schemes applied to the Oldham Atlanteans that went for further service is this one used by Scarlet Band, enhanced by the coach wheel trims. 144 was withdrawn in October 1979 and quickly passed to Geoff Lister as dealer, who sold it to Scarlet Band. In May 1981 it moved on again to Smith of Sacriston.

It has been rebuilt at the front with later style dash panels, incorporating combined side light and trafficator units as used on the OBU_F and later Atlanteans (but not the ABU_J series which had different panels altogether).
