On 6-Jul-1940 643 collided with a Coal Merchant's lorry by the top of Frizinghall Road by Lister Park and almost overturned, being stopped (only just) by landing on the lorry. It was repaired by BCT at Thornbury.
An unusual view of the underside of one of these vehicles with the tubes for the bamboo trolley poles prominent. In the background is a similar vehicle, presumably attempting to keep a service in operation from Bradford to Saltaire and beyond.
