This location has changed out of all recognition and in fact the road the bus is on just doesn't exist any more, having been diverted to make way for the M60. It's 9th April 1981 and 5181 (SBU 181G) is crossing the bridge over the alignment of the erstwhile Hollinwood canal. The canal basin, which connected to Oak colliery by a tramway incline commemorated in a street name, was just to the left of the bridge.
