212 of this batch had been loaned to Taff-Ely in 1982 but by the time 216 was on loan in 1988 the batch had been rebuilt from dual-door to single-door configuration. Unlike many of the other loaned vehicles seen, there is a clarity of destination with 216, assuming of course it was actually working that route!
