957 is another Optare Prisma with an inadequate destination display - these buses were very poor in that respect until new Hanover LED displays were fitted. On 15th February 2003 it is on Oldham Road near Greenfield station with the railway alongside. The signal just visible is a banner repeater - it is not the actual signal but gives prior indication of the signal indication as the visibility of the signal itself is restricted due to the line curvature. This is a modern LED version - there used to be a similar mechanical signal at the Manchester end of the Huddersfield-bound platform at Greenfield for the same reason, but this was removed when the footbridge was put up in 1978 as the signal it repeated was then removed as it had become completely obscured.
