First had gone through a period of very poor bus presentation not long before this picture was taken and these Optare Prismas were one of the main offenders as their electronic desination displays generally showed just a route number. To compensate local management used paper stickers until more senior management started questioning the approach to the problem.

The vehicles then went through a programme of fitting new displays which were not only better than the original but were properly programmed. 61250, which has just left the bus station in Uppermill, has clearly just had its new display fitted as the marks from the paper sticker are still visible.
