This Leyland Royal Tiger PSU1/15 with Harrington bodywork was considered by Peter Greaves to be the 'star' of the fleet, so it was with great disappointment to him that it seemed to spend more time in the garage than any other coach and he therefore never got to travel on it.

It was registered by the coach builders, who were based in Hove, hence the use of the Brighton "CD" mark instead of the usual Oldham "BU". New in September 1951 it stayed with Barlow's until the end of 1959. It later joined the fleet of R. W. Hancock (Comet Coaches) of Birmingham.
