Seen outside the Grotton Hotel on 27th July 1974, 5314 was one of the few buses to survive into Greater Manchester Transport days still in Oldham's livery. Its longevity can be partly attributed to a major overhaul in very early SELNEC days after a long period out of use. The use of the black fleet numbers on the pommard background was not common. This bus has also uniquely lost its nearside destination display.
