Former Oldham PD2 5317 is in its last year of service with SELNEC. It has acquired the SELNEC Southern fleetname on its Oldham pommard livery and more unusually the black fleetnumbers. It is on Delph New Road and is passing the Oak Dale Mills factory of H. Rhodes and Bros. Ltd., makers of fine woollen dress cloths, velours and coatings. One of the later textile companies in Saddleworth, it wasn't established until 1921, incorporated in 1946 it later became a subsidiary of Courtaulds Ltd.
