Heading the evening exodus from the Trading Estate, formed of a fascinating array of buses, is almost-new Regent V 7. According to a (clearly incorrect) Taff-Ely fleet list issued in 1979 this didn’t enter service until September 1969! Other sources quote March 1969.
Behind 7 is Rhondda Regent V 455 followed by another three Pontypridd double-deckers. At the rear is a Caerphilly Massey-bodied Leyland Titan, possibly on the Pontypridd service.
