50 is still in original condition, the only visible change being the fitment of a pressed aluminium registration plate on the radiator instead of the previous painted one. 49 and 50 were the only ones of the batch so fitted.
The “Novelty Nook” is celebrating Easter. The shop was contained in the frontage of the Palladium cinema, opened in 1915 and closed around 1960. Showing at the time was “South Sea Woman”, a 1953 film starring Burt Lancaster and Virginia Mayo.
