The solitary “pre-war” Bristol L was actually delivered in wartime and is seen here posed outside the Brislington tram depot prior to delivery to Pontypridd, with wartime white markings and lamp masks.

The building behind was the actual body works. Remarkably these buildings still survive, with the exception of the unremarkable one on the left.
