Newport’s most prominent route was the jointly-operated one to Cardiff and Atlantean 14 is seen in the latter city when still fairly new and the traditional liveries of other operators were still very much to the fore.
Some ten years later this bus would, along with most of the batch, be sold to Taff-Ely becoming 84 in that fleet.
