Time has not been kind to this older colour view of 47, which was the last of the batch recorded as being rebuilt with rubber-mounted windows only a few months before this picture, in February 1963. The modification in this case seems to have been rather limited and it has retained the original destination box, even though it is not used.

Note the bus stop flag for the Trallwn service.
