Temporary diversions due to Metrolink construction work have seen buses entering the bus stands on Clegg Street via Firth Street, bringing bus services for the first time past the imposing rear facade of the old Town Hall. This Optare Solo had previously worked the Metroshuttle services in Manchester city centre.
