Erstwhile Pontypridd 14 was sold to Walsall Corporation at the end of 1955 and entered service there in April 1956, having in the meantime been repainted and fitted with upholstered seats instead of the wooden slat seats originally fitted. It was otherwise little changed and remained so until withdrawal on 18th February 1962, although it hadn’t run since 12th November 1961.

Wlasall 253 behind was a Park Royal-bodied Guy Arab III from a batch of twenty-five with numbers scattered between 87 and 255. In later years with rebuilding most of them had an individual appearance.
