This photograph is a bit of a puzzle, as the 153 didn’t run along here at the time, yet the bus has a running board that looks correct and has plenty of passengers on board and it is the right time for a 153 to be leaving Oldham. Although some journeys on the 153/155 started at Market Place, there was only one such journey on the 153 and that was early in the morning.
