Additional information:
The wiring on this section of Lumb Lane dated from the opening of the gyratory system at this junction on 25-May-1959 and was used by outbound vehicles from Ashton Old Road and inbound vehicles bound for Ashton New Road. Rotherham 44 has arrived from Piccadilly and will turn right at the end. The skate for the electric frog can be seen, although I don't know which direction was selected at this location by taking power.
