This bus was a Leyland Titan PD2A/27 with East Lancs H37/27F bodywork. New as Burnley, Colne and Nelson 249 it became a Burnley and Pendle vehicle on local government reorganisation in 1974 before passing to Ken Shaw.

Carrying adverts for Shaw's caravan business, which gradually eclipsed the coach business, it is crossing the railway at Greenfield station on a Hulme Grammar School special, 23rd September 1977.
