The second Bedford seen in the previous photograph was 12 (FPT 872C). This was also a Bedford SB5 with Plaxton body that was new to Wilkinson of Sedgefield. It was sold by them just before they sold out to United whilst sister vehicle FPT 873C joined the United fleet, even receiving the elegant cream and olive green coach livery.

This photograph was taken at Blackpool on the occasion of the 1967 National Coach Rally, held on the weekend of April 1st/2nd. Behind is a Bedford VAL14 of Stott's Tours of Oldham, the driver of which won the class driving award.
