This advert appeared in the Oldham Coronation booklet of 1953 and would be one of the last placed under the business name of Tom Shaw & Son (Greenfield) Limited as the business was transferred to their Oldham company by March 1953.

As the advert indicates, Shaw's operated the Pleasureways tours, the latter name long outliving that of Tom Shaw. Taken over by Jackson's of Altrincham and becoming Jackson's Shearings Pleasureways, it was one of the antecedents of the current Shearings company.
