548 was a Volvo B10B with Wright bodywork, the first of many from this coachbuilder in recent years. It is approaching the horseshoe bend at Thurston Clough on 15th June 2000 along a new alignment of the road dating from the late fifties/early sixties when traffic was much heavier here.
