Taken from the old bridge, this high-level view shows N1512, which was new to East Kent originally with no fleet number but later numbered 1077. These gave several years service to National Welsh.

In the background, beyond the A470(T) flyover can be seen part of the former Chain Works of Brown, Lenox Co. Ltd. Despite its size and importance to the local economy, the location of the factory meant that it rarely gets seen in photos around the town.
