Former North Western AEC Reliance 925 is loading up at the bottom of George Street for a trip to Mossley, despite what the blind says. It is in SELNEC days, after the dissolution of SELNEC Cheshire, and in fact none of this batch with bus bodies (as opposed to the dual-purpose version) ran from Oldham in North Western days. St. Peter's House towers above the bus, and would do for a few years more, whilst behind 925 is a SELNEC Park Royal-bodied Fleetline and a former Oldham Corporation Atlantean.

From an original slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown.
