This superb shot of Paul's shows 122 breasting the top of Carrhill Road on its way into Mossley on 25th February 1981, having made the trip via Roughtown. The spire of St. John's church balances the composition nicely. Despite more than twenty-five years having elapsed since the 355 went this way, there is still a small direction sign erected by Tameside depot directing 355s down Carrhill Road at this junction!
