328 has pulled up outside Greenfield Conservative Club from which the next band is emerging, no doubt after a bit of refreshment, to line up ready for marching down Chew Valley Road. The clear space in the foreground, now a bridleway, was where the former Micklehurst loop line from Stalybridge to Diggle crossed the road, the bridge being demolished in 1975.
