5151 was originally Oldham 151 and was a Neepsend-bodied Leyland Atlantean. It is climbing Middleton Road and passing the future location of Westwood stop.
Those more familiar with Oldham’s bus routes will realise that the 82 didn’t normally go this way. Buses were being diverted at Werneth fire station down Featherstall Road and up Middleton Road. I didn’t record the reason but it was almost certainly related to the construction of the Manchester Street flyover for the extension of Oldham Way.
