Trips to the Rugby League Cup Final at Wembley were a big tradition, regardless of the teams involved. Many pubs organised their own trips but an alternative was to use a Yelloway excursion as advertised in the Oldham Evening Chronicle here in 13th April 1978. The match is reckoned to have been one of the best finals ever, a game which Leeds won 14-12.
It sounds an exhausting itinerary!
