It was very rare to see buses from the council fleets of Aberdare and Pontypridd together despite their relative proximity and only really started happening for the short time that Cynon Valley ran to Pontypridd whilst Taff-Ely was still operational.
Taff-Ely’s Swift 60 is on Gelliwastad Road followed by Cynon Valley 12, a Northern Counties-bodied Renault S56.
It’s difficult to be sure what 60 was doing as it’s not carrying any passengers and may be running empty from the depot. The destination display leaves a lot to be desired and may be rather misleading.
