Salford only ever had two electrically-powered works vehicles. This was the first, described as a watering and snow-sweeping car. It is thought to have carried the number 8 in later life and lasted until 1938.

This one carries the name of the new General Manager, George William Holford, who took up his post from 1st April 1905.
