Additional information:
593 was the first member of class H1 and had chassis number 60136. It was built slightly earlier than the rest of the class and was exhibited at the 1950 Commercial Motor Show, for which it received the special livery shown here with gold lining and (for some reason) no black mouldings. The bumper also received a treatment unique to this vehicle, being red with chrome-plated strips. 593 worked the last journey from Almondbury (the first trolleybus route) on 14-Jul-1965 and was then withdrawn.
