Due to sewer works in Grasscroft the 355 was diverted via Lydgate on 26th July 1986. Olympian 3040 descends Quick Road and is carrying the yellow local identifier stripe for Oldham that was introduced as part of the "commercialisation" of Greater Manchester Transport just before deregulation.
