Not quite on the 355 route (since deregulation a couple of weeks previously) is Ribble 1614. This was one of a batch of Atlanteans which came from Southdown (in which fleet it was 714) to augment the fleet as they had won a large number of school contracts. There had not been time to repaint this particular vehicle in Ribble red livery. On 4th November 1986 it is at Greenfield station making its way to Uppermill for a Saddleworth School extra journey on the 355.
